- Having purchased a Galaxy 10 Plus and printed out the 151-page user manual, I ordered this to supplement and explain the intricacies of my new smartphone. This book is not a panacea to my desires; with a total page count of 104, the first 23 pages were devoted to a history of the product line beginning with the Galaxy i7500 (2009) and ranging up to the present. Interestingly, when I read the text on the Galaxy 7, there was no mention of any battery problem.
But as to the main text, it should be noted that it is a large font double-spaced, so that the remaining 81 pages are more like 40 pages of normal text. The screenshots are in black-and-white which might be acceptable but for the fact that they are often blurry. The "tips and tricks" are often available in the Samsung user manual. Characterizing this as a "beginner to expert" guide is a gross exaggeration.
Computer and electronic related guides often range between simplistic and obtuseness. This effort falls squarely in the former range. - First 22 pages are about history of galaxy phones..... as far as the included screen shots advertised on the front cover, they are in black and white and blurry. Wouldnt recommend this one.
